Southern Alps and the Mt Hutt ski areas.
Heading south with the
centre of the South Island, you will travel through Lake Tekapo. The lake has
one of the most amazing blue colours, thanks to the abundant debris water. Lake
Tekapo is likewise house to the much-photographed Church of the Great Guard.
